Matthew Perry, known for his portrayal of Chandler Bing on the popular television show “Friends,” has passed away. He was 54 years old.
According to law enforcement sources cited by The Los Angeles Times, Perry was found unresponsive in his hot tub at his home. Authorities arrived at the scene at 4 P.M.
In addition to his role on “Friends,” Perry had a successful career in film and appeared in movies such as “The Whole Nine Yards,” “Getting In,” and “17 Again.”
Perry struggled with substance abuse issues for many years and had not been actively acting since 2017.
